Looks like Carrie Underwood isn't the most graceful Von Trapp in live production of The Sound of Music.
During rehearsals this week, Carrie had a run-in with a guitar and toppled over during another scene. She tweeted, "I hit myself in the head with my own guitar and later fell on my face playing leap frog."
If that weren't enough, the following day she had an encounter with an unwelcome intruder in the studio. "So yesterday, I had a startling run-in with a bat... Yes, I said BAT! I wonder what today's rehearsals have in store?"
Not surprisingly, the leap frog scene has been cut from the production. The Sound of Music Live airs tomorrow (Thursday) at 8 p.m. [ET] on NBC.
The producers of Wheel of Fortune are in serious damage-control mode -- after airing a puzzle with the solution The Fast and the Furious.
In the wake of Paul Walker's death over the weekend, the producers tried to blunt the damage by running a scroll across the top of the screen explaining that the show had taped weeks ago. And host Pat Sajak tweeted, ""Feel terrible about timing of Fast and Furious puzzle tonight. Taped long ago and went out to 200 local stations days ago."
There's no word yet on why Wheel's producers or its affiliates didn't just pull the show and air a rerun.
