A week ago today was Black Friday with many shopping in full force! I spoke with my banker, Pati Jo, who looooooves Black Friday and she was just floored with the looooooong lines to check out. So in and out wasn't ask quick as anticipated, but those who tackle this feat know what's "in store" for them!
To help you out a little bit, if you're looking for a crowd-free shopping experience, here are the remaining days that are expected to have the smallest amount of foot traffic in stores this holiday season, according to ShopperTrak.
"The stores won't be busy on these days because they are all weekdays and most shoppers will be taking a break following the big-spending Black Friday weekend", according to ShopperTrack.
So, check that list once....twice.....even three times and hopefully you'll be finished by December 16th!!!

I taped the "Making of....." and have set my DVR for 8:00pm tonight, Channel 4 so I don't miss the presentation of The Sound of Music Live!!!! (I gave it three extra !)
This is such a thrill for me, growing up in the generation of children that were lucky enough to listen to their parents records over and over and over again. One of my favorites was The Sound of Music starring Julie Andrews. I used to sing along to every track and thought I would play the perfect Leezal, if ever asked....(now I can't sing a tune out of a paper bag, but everyone is allowed to dream).
So don't forget to set your DVR and I hope you enjoy it! Doe, a deer, a female deer......doe, ray, me, fa(r), sew, la, tea, doe :)

When I was a little girl, my Nana Jean would make my sister and I a gingerbread house every year, until she moved to California, we would wait for the arrival of our annual treasure via USPS. I remember my mother putting it in the center of our dining room table and we couldn't take anything off of it until after Christmas! If Nana Jean was still with me today, this would really impress her! Was a gingerbread house an annual tradition in your home too?
